Tehran, Iran Apr 23, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - Independent filmmaker, actor, and musician Mohsen Sadeghi Mood, born in 1988 in Mashhad, introduces his latest short film titled Nazi a psychological drama that delves deep into the destructive impact of hallucinogenic drug abuse and the emotional trauma it causes within a family.
Nazi follows the story of a man whose drug-induced hallucinations lead him to harm both himself and his family. With a stark and realistic lens, the film confronts the harsh realities of addiction and its consequences in Iranian society.
Mohsen Sadeghi Mood is a multifaceted Iranian artist with over a decade of experience in music and cinema. He began his artistic career in 2010 as a singer-songwriter, releasing more than 10 original tracks. In 2018, he expanded his focus to acting, accumulating over 8 film in TV series and feature films, performing alongside some of Irans most respected actors.
Mohsen marks his directorial debut, in which he not only directed and wrote the script but also starred in the leading role. Drawing from his musical background, Mohsen also composed and performed the films closing credits song adding a deeply personal layer to the storytelling.
Nazi is currently being submitted to various international film festivals and has already garnered interest for its bold subject matter and strong performances.
Though the full short film has not yet been publicly released, it is currently being submitted to several international film festivals. The filmmaker aims to showcase the work globally before making it available to a wider audience.
